I'm still making and doing things but haven't gotten a lot finished or had time to upload it. I took up knitting a few months ago and I've been playing around with that. I also started a blog where I'll be putting up patterns I've come up with that are going to be free.

Disappointed
I have to say I'm rather disappointed in the lack of diversity in the events here on DA. I get that most of the artists on here are seem to be the typical art styles such as digital or traditional drawn art and photography, then there's the written work in all it's forms. Those seem to be the main focus of events, for example the current Start With Love poster event. And all the card projects or the draw your take on this game/comic/whatever else the hot topic is. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with those events but rather the lack of events for artists of other mediums. Yes, there are categories for submitting jewelry, sewn items, yar
Big news!
There's a sci-fi/fantasy convention held near me every year and this year I'm going to have a table in the dealer's room to sell my amigurumi! I know so many people there and it's been a few years since I've gone so I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm planning to have a bunch of geek & anime themed amigurumi and other goods. This is the first time I'll doing anything like this so I'm equal parts excited and nervous about it.

The power just came on and I have a/c once again, lights, and a working coffee pot.
While waiting I was pretty productive and finished the back of a sweater I'm making one of my girls. I'm only a few inches away from knitting intarsia for the first time.
